5 Months Old

Our little monkey man is 5 months old. Tonight we were playing on the floor and he rolled over. Fluke... maybe but he was pretty proud of himself. He loves his jumparoo, Sophie his giraffe, eating squash, and playing with mommy and daddy. He can hold his head up like a champ and is so close to crawling and sitting up. I think at 6 months we might be able to say he can do both.

Love to take selfies with my crazy mom!!
 Look at him in action
This is what she does to me! ha ha ha
Baby showers are rough, this was after he spit up all over me, then he fell asleep.
I am so flexible, I love my feet!
Waiting for her to feed me. I love my little high chair toy. So fun! Thanks Clayton!

KU Game vs. Texas Tech

Matt got me tickets for Christmas to a KU basketball game. So we packed Jackson up and asked my brother and his girlfriend to head to Kansas for the weekend. This was Jackson's third trip to Kansas and it was so much fun. We had friends keep him while we were at the game and had so much fun in Lawrence. I think this was my first time back since 2008 and I hope we can make this a tradition! We were able to go to my favorite restaurants and got to drive by so many places that just brought back memories. I missed this place so much!
All I have to say is that Jefferson's didn't disappoint. Burger, beer, and fried pickles....
So cool, we got to the game with plenty of time to take it all in.
 Warming up.
Me and Matt, it was his first game and now I think he understands why I am so crazy about Kansas Basketball. We didn't get a group picture of the four of us, so I guess we will have to go to another game.
Allen Fieldhouse.... Beware of the Phog!

Just a few of my favorites....

I love taking pictures of my little dude and here are a few of my favorites from the past few weeks. Mom offered to take us to pedicures and I thought Jackson would just tag along. He wasn't hungry he just wanted to suck on my nose. Taylor got this picture of us.... too funny!
Willie doesn't get the love he used to, but I still love him!! I thought he looked so adorable.
 Belly full of mommies milk.
I love this picture and it is actually on my screen on my computer at work, I love these boys so much.
Chubby baby legs all from his mommies milk and a little baby food....
We started feeding Jackson baby food a few weeks ago. He love it. His favorite is squash and sweet potatoes and any fruit. He isn't too much of a fan of peas and green beans, but I make him eat them any way!
 Tickle Tickle....

Ringing in 2015 in Kansas City

2014 Has been such a great year. It started with announcing to our families that we were pregnant and taking my first train trip to Colorado. During the year we went on multiple weekend trips, weddings, and we had our best gift in August Jackson Dean. We wanted to have a baby for a few years before we were blessed with Jackson but I really can't imagine my life without him. I love my weekends with him and watching him grow. My favorite thing to do is play with him and read him books. He got a lot of awesome books for Christmas and we have so much fun together.

I was asked by my closest friend from college to be a part her wedding on NYE so we packed up Jackson and took him with us for her big day. It was a great few days and I wish we could have stayed longer. Things have definitely changed having Jackson (because I know I have to get up with him in the middle of the night) but we had a blast! Here are some pictures from the wedding.

We just added him to a luggage rack!

JD and the bride. He stayed in the suite for about 15 minutes to say hello to everyone so we could start getting ready.
 Me and the bride. Beautiful!

We actually took a picture together. It only took a few tries....
Happy New Years Day! We did a lot of snuggling because we both were tired.
Happy boy..... let's see what else we can do in 2015!

Jackson 4.5 Months

Jackson is getting bigger every day and has been so much fun. He is still wearing all 6 month clothes and wearing size 2 diapers. We have been feeding him baby food in the evening and last night was the first time he really ate anything. We were at Brooke's house and he seemed hungry so I fed him applesauce and it was a big hit so I am going to try to mix applesauce with vegetables to see how it goes.
I love taking videos of him when Matt was gone. He was talking away!
Willie protecting his baby. Jackson was making noises and Willie snuggled up next to him. They are too cute. I think Willie has realized I will give him more love if he does the same thing to the baby.
Christmas was pretty fun but poor little Jackson was overwhelmed. We opened our gifts on Christmas Eve and Matt spoiled me. He got me tickets to a KU game, a North Face coat, new clothes, and a treadmill. I am a lucky lady. We got Jackson all kinds of fun stuff and he could have cared less. He didn't look at the paper. He is pretty much too small for everything so I will post pictures as he can start playing with his new toys!
I bought the boys matching jammies and Brooke took some with her camera so I will have to steal some from her blog! Grammie with two of her boys.
 Baby Snuggles
One of the best things I found him. I can't wait for him to wear these in Florida!!
Almost rolling over. So close but still hasn't made the move to go all the way.
He is always all smiles in his car seat. So sweet!
All his friends. I am going to be sad when he gets to big for this camo coat.
