Dolphinarias

One day while we were on our trip we decided to go swimming with the dolphins which was right next to our resort. Neither of us had ever done this before and we had a blast. We bought a CD and DVD so I have tons of pictures that they took when were swimming. There are so many good ones and I love Matt's face in all of the pictures!!!

This was the first trick they have the dolphins do. They just came out of the water to our hands and gave us a kiss on the hand.

Kisses for Matt and one on the lips..
 Dancing......
Riding the dolphin! This was really fun!!! I was afraid I wasn't going to do it right, but I did....

 Look at these lips!

 Matt's turn for a ride....

The smiles really show how much fun we were having!!!!

Resort Fun

At the resort we stayed at we had the chance to use an additional funds that we could use for spa treatment, special dinners at the resort, alcohol to purchase, pictures, or even excursions. We had to much fun using this extra money and we did a lot of great things. We bought this CD with pictures with the birds and us playing water volleyball.
I was so excited all week for them to bring animals to take pictures with and one day they brought parrots to the pool.
Water volleyball.... Matt was playing volleyball and water polo all the time but he got me to play at least three games. It was fun but hard for me because the water was fairly deep.

Romantic dinner: At this dinner we had lobster and fillets. It was really good and fun because it was like six courses and we had champagne at the table with a view of the ocean. It was really fun and something I am glad we had the chance to do!

A few more parrot pictures.....Matt knew how excited I was for this so he decided not to get any pictures! I was waiting for monkeys but they never brought any! I was kinda bummed but I guess I will have to wait for another trip.

The parrot was trying to eat my eyeball I was trying not to move but I just wanted them to get these birds off me by the time we were done!

Honeymoon

We left on our honeymoon on March 5th and headed off to Riviera Maya, Mexico. We were able to spend an entire week of fun and relaxation. Matt planned the whole trip so all I had to do was get my name changed on my passport, which I did the Monday after our wedding so we were ready to go. Our honeymoon was delayed because I started school the Monday after we got married so between on of my last semesters at ISU and working I was in for a much needed break. We had a fantastic week full of drinking, eating, shows, water activities, and us time. We even met a couple there that was getting married and they invited us to their wedding. So I wanted to share some pictures. These are just from my camera so I will have more to come...
Lemon drop martinis at the ocean tiki bar. We went every night where we made friends with the bartender Jose who looked like Christopher Walken. It was pretty funny. Matt has a new love for chocolate martinis.
Waiting in the rain.... It rained a little bit two days that we were there but it wasn't too bad either day. At this point and time we had walked to the family side of the resort we got stuck with a bunch of little kids, ha ha ha.
On Tuesday we visited Playa Del Carmen which was about twenty minutes away from our resort but there was another Palace Resort that we visited. We took a bus and were able to eat, drink, and swim at this resort for the day. We went to be able to have a little more beach to enjoy. It was fantastic and I had a blast! I even got third place in a movie trivia game!! We left the resort for about an hour to do a little shopping and eat lunch. It was amazing what you could buy and how cheap everything was. We went to a little cantina and had lunch and drank some cold beers. If we ever get the chance to go back I would like to visit Cozumel which we could see from this resort but you have to take a ferry to get there.

Having a few drinks before we went to the circus. Every night they had some type of entertainment that was offered and we went pretty much all of them. My favorite was the Michael Jackson show because of the music and dancing but Matt even had fun with me at all of them!!
After eating our lobster dinner...It was really yummy so we decided to finish off the night with just a few martinis.
Fire show on the beach. This was really cool and they served dinner on the beach and had the show after. I don't know what Matt had the camera set on but I really like the way this pictures turned out.
An iguana we saw when we swam with the dolphins. More pictures to come from that!
