4 Month Appointmet

Jackson had his four month appointment on Tuesday 12/16 and here are his stats below. I have been wanting to see how much he weighed and I couldn't believe it when they put him on the scale. I thought he weighed more so when Dr. Boe said he was the 36% percentile we asked about if we could give him food. So we have been trying. He has no idea really what to do but even over a few days he has been getting better. Jackson is totally out of 3 month clothes. The onesies still kind of fit but were tight going over his head so I just put them away. Pants have been way too small for a while so he is wearing 6 or 6-9 month pants.
He has a good sized noggin and we really love wearing hats. He pulls off socks and will drop anything out of his seat, highchair, or swing but he leaves his hats on. I am happy because we have a lot of them and they are so darn cute.
Matt was gone a lot this week so I try to take videos. Keyword "I try" I know they are not good but I wanted to capture the moment since he was gone.
I mean seriously look at this face!
"Mom stop just feed me!"
He loves to sit in the high chair. I put him in it when I am making dinner and he just watches me. It is really the cutest. He never wants to miss anything.
This was the first time that I gave him cereal. It was so funny!
Jackson loves to watch the train go by. Matt loves to lay him on his boppy and he just watches the train go round and round!

4 Months Old

Being 4 months old is hard work. Here are all my favorite places to sleep!!
 My car seat!
 My Jump-a-Roo
 and again.....
and again.... He is the son to my husband! Matt can fall asleep anywhere and Jackson loves to fall asleep mid-jump!
And on mommies lap. Love these lips! This is Jackson in a milk coma....

It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas

I know Jackson is still a new little baby but Christmas has been so much fun this year. I love buying gifts but gifts for a new baby is the best. Below is a picture from our Christmas card that we posed Jaackson in Christmas Jammies (Clayton's) in his bumbo with Matt's trains. While we were taking pictures Matt brought the little bear Jackson is holding which is my favorite stuffed animal from my childhood named Gundy. Matt didn't know the background story behind Gundy so it was pretty sweet to watch Jackson love on him!

I am in love with our stockings. I am so happy I bought them. This is also the first year we opted out of getting a baby tree and got a 6ft tree. For me this is huge! I always just got the smallest tree possible before so it was fun decorating it with all sorts of ornaments.

The tree and baby Jack Jack. How cute?!?

Thanksgiving

We went to my Mom's for Thanksgiving and it is so fun to spend the day with family and Brooke's little ones. Sawyer and Clayton both love Jackson and I can't wait for the three of them to get into trouble!
Jackson laying on Grammie's lap with his aborable flannel bibs that he got from our friends the Windish's as a gift.
All tuckered out from a big day. Always snuggling blankets by his face!

Hitch the Taylor's

Taylor and Isaac got married over the weekend at the Pear Tree Estates in Champaign, IL. I was an amazing wedding weekend with great friend and family. We had so much fun Friday night at the rehearsal, getting ready all day Saturday, and finally the wedding Saturday night. A big thank you to my husband for taking care of Jackson all day for me!
Me and one of my favorites Jenny!
I didn't get any pictures with my little man but this is my Aunt Joani snuggle with him for the first time. He met a lot of family and friends at Taylor's big day.
Bridemaids with out leading lady Taylor Taylor!
Matt and Melissa. Matt wanted me to get his good side.
Melissa and me. We had a blast together all weekend long.
 Me and the Groom!
At the end of the night. We couldn't get a clear picture.
This was Jackson Sunday evening. He was passed out. Too much fun at Taylor's wedding. I can't wait to see pictures from this night!

3 Months Old

I am three months old! Everyday I am getting bigger and doing more fun and exciting things. I have started to reach for things and can see my Mom or Dad from across the rooms. I love my jumparoo, I was kind of scared of it but not I love to play with the toys and jump!! I smile all the time and love to talk to anyone who will listen. I am outgrowing all my 3 months clothes and 6 month clothes aren't even that big. I love my pacifier and kicking anything in my way, when I am doing tummy time I rock back in forth trying to move. I definitely can't move yet, but I am trying.
Reaching for my phone and showing me his dimples!
Isn't my camo fleece cool? I love like to chew on it!
I love playing with my toys on my activity mat.
 How cute is this video?!?
I like this paci because I can pull it out and put it back all on my own.
I wore a bears onesie and they actually won.
Love my jump jump! I am such a big boy!
Don't mind mommy talking in the background.
Sleepy after daycare. Love holding my blanket.
 Kissey face!
My awesome towel that Kelly got me. It is awesome and has my name on it.
Snuggle me!

12 Weeks Old

Jackson is 12 weeks old. He will be 3 months old on the 15 so not really sure what you are supposed to say for his age so we will just stick with 12 weeks. Last Sunday we decided we would try to put the bassinet away and move him to the pack and play. His room is right next to ours but I am not ready to have him not in our room. I am really just afraid I won't hear him cry.

He has been doing okay but not great. He has been waking me up 2-3 times a night so this momma is tired. Not really that bad but by 8pm I am ready to go to bed because I know I will be up with him at night. I think he is just growing and getting hungry more often so tonight I am going to try to give him a bottle with cereal in it. When he gets up at night he isn't unhappy he is just hungry. so I feed him and he goes back to sleep.

He is getting so big and looks different everyday. He gets bored easier now and doesn't want to miss anything. He doesn't sleep to much at night or during the day! He just wants to look around. It is pretty cute and he does the same thing at Jo's (his babysitter).

I put the cozy napsack thing on the car seat today when we went for a run and he seemed to be pretty snug. He slept the whole time!
He laid on his activity mat this morning and played for probably an hour. It was nice to get a few things done and he was having a great time. He is starting to grab the animals hanging and even managed to pull the whole thing down. I love watching him play!
Brooke had us over last night for pizza and Polar Express. Mom and Brooke got to see first hand how Jackson doesn't want to miss anything. The only time he really slept was when we were watching the movie. It was a fun little girls night since all of our men are down at the lake. Me and Brooke think it is our turn next! Brooke got these little stackable wines at Wal-Mart. They were delicious and oh so convenient!
Jackson sitting up like a big boy. I was asking him if he wanted a cheeseburger. I put our high chair together last week so I think Jackson will be sitting with us soon. He sat and watched us while we made rice crispy treats and pizza!
Going grocery shopping. He is always happy when we go and yes he was awake when we went to get my dress altered for Taylor's wedding, Meijer, and Sam's. He just had quick cat naps in the car in between and I fed him before we went into Sam's. I am trying to start him young with how much fun shopping is. Now I just need him to last long enough so we can go shopping for him or me....
Friday night just using Willie as a foot rest!
I had to retire his little KU stocking hat. It barely covers his ears. So sad since it was too big for him when he was born. Where did my baby go?
Tuckered out after a long day at daycare. His sitter got him this cute hat!
Willie had a rough week this week. I took him to the vet on Monday to get his teeth cleaned and he came home with getting 3 teeth removed and two masses removed. Poor little guy! I had no idea that any of this was going to happen other than getting his teeth cleaned and Dr. Bleem was going to look at one spot on his leg and turned into a big day for Willie and a big bill for me. Oh well, got to take care of my first baby too!
On Sunday I also put together his jumparoo! He is to little but loves it. This picture is when I stopped bouncing him and he was trying to bounce on his own. He gets tired pretty quick but I know he is going to love this. We now have a KU pillow pet underneath so he can push off on his own!
 Big Boy!

His outfit last Sunday! My little football!!
P.S. Jackson was asleep the whole time I wrote this post....
