Lake of the Ozarks- Memorial Day

We headed to the lake for Memorial Day. Matt drove all the way home from Ohio then we got back into the car and went to the Ozarks. It was too short, went too fast, but it was a great time. Since we were only there for 2 nights we just slept on the boat. This year proved to be a little more difficult than last. We all got a little sleep! The kids and Matt were playing in one of the rooms.

Coconuts- they just opened a kiddie pool. These two had so much fun. We got a lot of sun, stayed for a few hours, and then ate lunch on the boat.
 Squinty smiles!
On the boat- Oakleighwas in a constant struggle but if Matt held her she was fine. So he held her....

I wish Matt was a little closer so we could go more often but I will take what I can get. I love the lake and hope we can go back soon!

Summer Time!

This nice weather can stick around. We love to be outside as soon as we get home from daycare until dinner time. I still haven't put our pool up because the kids seem to like the water table just fine.  Popsicles are a big hit in our house and we can only eat them outside. Jackson is really taking to this big brother thing! He likes to help Oakleigh and teach her new things. She thinks she can do anything and has no fear so between the two of them they are usually getting into something they shouldn't.

Bubbles! We usually spill more bubbles than we get out but it is always a great time.

Blanket and bunny. Me and Oakleigh were playing outside when Jackson was still napping and he came to the door like this. It was the cutest thing ever holding bunny's ear and his blanket in the other hand. I had a rule that they both had to stay in the house at all times but Bunny is Jackson's buddy and she has started to get to go pretty much anywhere Jackson is.
And the park. We still love the park! We don't go that often but when we do these two have a blast. Oakleigh can now go down the slide by herself and pretty much does it all and doesn't want any help. I wonder where she gets it from!

Daddy came home! Matt was home on a Sunday we did a little shopping and went to the shop to check on some things with his trucks.  These two love this cart at Farm and Fleet.
Jackson was helping Daddy and Oakleigh was just being adorable!  This outfit was so stinking cute with her little trucker hat.
