Meeting Miss Charlotte Elzy

Charlotte is 10 days older than Oakleigh but Oakleigh is definitely bigger. These two are going to be best friends, I can't wait!

 

Oakleigh's Birth Announcment

These turned out amazing and again I love all of her newborn pictures. I have already ordered all of her pictures and have them hanging up. I will add more to this post when I get the file fixed! 

2 Weeks Old

Little Miss is 2 weeks old... For the big day we got dressed up and went to her appointment then headed to the Marriott to eat lunch with my co-workers then headed to the grocery store. Big day! It was nice to be out of the house.

Stats for 2 weeks:

Height: 20.25"- 53%

Weight: 8lbs 5oz- 57%

Head Circumference: 14.25"- 81%

Matt took Jackson to Monster Jam in Peoria. They had fun but Matt said maybe next year will be better because he will be a little bigger. He wasn't too keen about all the loud noises!

Here are a few pictures of over the next few days. She is just changing everyday. I love putting her in clothes Jackson was able to wear. If you add a bow anything can be girly.

Best Big Brother

Jackson has been an awesome big brother and I spend a lot of my time feeding Oakleigh so Jackson spends a lot of time entertaining me. He will sit on my lap and bring me books or check out his sister. We love to take selfies and are pretty good at them if I say so my self...

I told Jackson to watch her while I cleaned the kitchen I did't expect him to really watch her and then I saw this. So precious....

 Really bad picture of me but so happy to be with my boy. He was showing me his trucks while I put away dishes.

 I thought Jackson how to tickle her and he got to make her giggle. It was so cute. This was after there first bath toogether and I forgot to grab jammies for Oakleigh so again he was watching her for me.

Cousin Love!

We had a great little Friday. We got to meet all of our cousins. Aunt Taylor came over during the day with Miss Lettie and The Grieder Clan came with dinner! 

Big stuff, what I see is a babysitter in the making. He held Oakleigh for a long time and Sawyer kept Jackson busy. 

 I mean how cute it this? They are only 3 months apart but I can't believe how big they get so fast. These two little best friends in the making mostly slept and nursed but they had a great play date.

 Someone had too much fun for one day! 

Oakleigh is Home!

We made it home and had a great weekend with just the family. It was great and then we realized we have two kids! Jackson likes to hold baby sister and this picture looks like she is a doll. It doesn't look like it but she is the sweetest with her.

 Packed up to go to the doctor for her 5 day appointment.

After her first bath, well sponge bath that is. Post bath, happy as a litte clam!

 Willie definitely doesn't get as much love as he used to but he definitely still looks out for his babies!

Hospital Stay

As soon as we got done swooning over our new baby, I asked what I needed to do to get to go home. We left the hospital first thing on Saturday morning and I couldn't wait to get home but I did enjoy my time with Oakleigh in the hospital.

 I mean this little hat! So cute and loved how small it was... This headband is another one my neighbor made for Oakleigh.

 As soon as we got home she took a great nap.

 Packing up to come home from the hospital. Aunt Taylor made made this little hat and she didn't even know what I was bringing her home in. She is too good.

 I love this picture. She hasn't sucked on her thumb since but it was so sweet. I think she was just really happy in her daddy's arms.

Aunt Brooke gave her a paci and she took it a little bit but still isn't too much of a fan. Love watching her sleep and this little sleeper was so soft and even had ruffles on the booty!
