It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

Thanksgiving came and went and I was so excited to get our Christmas tree. Come to find out Matt was more excited to get our the train, and Jackson couldn't keep his hands off of it for the entire month we had it up. 

We ventured out to Menards to get our Christmas tree just like we have for the last 5 or so years. I think we will have to go somewhere else next year because all of the trees were wrapped up so we just grabbed one and left. Matt picked out one of these flats with a basket to get the tree so of course this is where Jackson wanted to sit. He did great and was a happy little camper the whole time. 

The tree ended up being really pretty and we had a lot of fun putting ornaments on it. Jackson did a lot of "ooohhing and awwing" over everything. I think he will just keep getting more fun the older he gets.

 He learned quickly how to run the train so as soon as we got home everyday this is the first thing he wanted to do, and I also learned how to fix the train when it derailed over and over again!

 Well you have to watch mickey while you play with the train right? This is the little advent calendar my mom got Jackson. He also loved to watch the days count down, and play with the numbers and the moose!

Jackson loved to carry his ChristMoose around with him. I know he will be excited when it comes out next year! This little moose got lots of hugs and was carried around a lot.

 His sweet little hand from last year. He was too busy this year to make another one..... Or I was too busy trying to get ready for Florida!
